Changing the filename of the certificate file
The certificate widget in Adobe Captivate 13 saves the certificate with a filename of "captivate-certificate.pdf. Changing that default filename is straightforward following these steps.
1.) Save then build your Captivate project.
2.) Open the JavaScript file at dist/main.chunk.js.
3.) Search for "captivate-certificate". There are two occurences as shown above.
4.) Change the name within the quotes, keeping the .PDF extension.
5.) Save your changes to the JavaScript file.
When the learner clicks the download icon in the certificate widget and the download begins, the "Save as..." dialog will have your new filename listed.
