Professional Drone Services

imageIf you are needing commercial aerial photography, videography, roof inspections, or other drone services, you have come to the right place.  We offer these services under FAA Part 107 rules for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), as a Remote Pilot Certificate holder.  The FAA requires specific training, safety precautions, and procedures for those who fly drones for business and commercial purposes.  Having first started flying drones in 2013, McKune Air has the experience and training you need for your project to be successful.

Safe and Responsible Flight Operations

imageThere are several safety considerations when flying:  Airspace restrictions, notifications, bystanders, weather, coordination with Air Traffic Control, and aircraft maintenance and control.  In the Rolla area, there is a required notification of Phelps Air as an active heliport.  Rolla is under under Class E airspace, is near Federal Airway V289, and has two airports:  Rolla Downtown Airport and Rolla National Airport.  McKune Air adheres to all FAA safety regulations and uses the appropriate technology for safe flight operations, including the new Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability (LAANC) system installed by the FAA.
